I’m Crissy Trask, founder of Green Matters, bestselling author, blogger, freelance writer and nationally recognized expert on all things green.  My blog frequently includes product reviews, and they are among the most read of all posts!

the ground rules

If you have a green product you’d like reviewed on GreenMatters, please submit details about the product for consideration.  I can’t review every product and I can’t respond to every request, but if your product is selected, you’ll be notified in a timely manner with instructions for how to get the process started.  That process includes purchasing advertising on the site in the form of either a banner or embedded link.  Your purchase of an ad compensates me for the research and time that go into learning about, using and writing about the product.

expect complete honesty

If you believe in your product, chances are I too will find its best, redeeming qualities.  If I find some faults, I’ll be constructive in my criticism and you will gain some good insight into how your product might be improved.  Besides, a discerning reader will find a product review with nothing but positive things to say fishy. If you want the reader to believe the positives, I need to be frank about any negatives.

If you want to tie in a giveaway,  I can either link to a sweepstakes or giveaway promotion on your website, or include details about a free product giveway just for GreenMatters.com readers within the review.
